With several techniques Juan Kasari mixes fictives and facts,
The artist makes use of the fiction space and characters to create a new polarization. To mix facts and fiction he wants to problematice how we understand things and how we want to see things around us.

Several of the works can be seen as an incorrection and an interruption of the local, national and global phenomenons.

He works with different mediums: Mixed media paintings, photography, video, sound, installation, performance.

He have had several exhibitions and live performances all over Europe.

Juan Kasari finds also new ways to use modern clichés in his work. Usually there is a certain voyeuristic, humorous and political aspects in his works.

Artist Statement

In my art work I deal with humanity and differencies between social classes at a large scale. I’m especially considering the position and the roles of poor people today’s society and the global phenomenon on the level of individuals.

I’m interested in showing the ‘other side’ of the humanity and reality in today’s world where as people deal with the different problems and hard situations in their life such as growing poverty of individuals, inequality, substance addictions, violence, matters and use of power and communication.

The dialogue of my latest works is happening between the figures; such as rich upper class (gated community )people and their fiers and the poor minimun weight people

I have closely chosen the images from different media that are the basis of my works.

My main mediums are video, mixed media paintings with acrylic, ink, water colourpaint and I also use installation and photography as a part of my art work.
